The Golf Watch is a blog that was created in May, 2007 by Richard Simon, a journalist from Baltimore, Maryland. Simon attended Goucher College and now works as the Web Editor/Producer for the Georgetown University Law School in Washington D.C.

Before working at Georgetown, Simon worked for two years at the Maryland Daily Record in downtown Baltimore as their Webmaster.

A Phi Beta Kappa member, Simon worked as a caddy and bag room attendant at renowned Caves Valley Golf Club for two years.  He still caddies from time-to-time at Suburban Country Club. 

Simon also served as Director of Programming for Goucher Student Radio for three years.
