7-time
winner Joey Sindelar has decided to call it quits on the PGA Tour. Sindelar, who turns 50 in late March, made the decision after the Children's Miracle Network Classic, where he finished T-26. "It’s been a thrill to win in a few different decades, but also to watch the superstars of all that time and learn, and see what works," said Sindelar in an interview on The Golf Channel. The longtime PGA Tour pro had only two top-25 finishes in 2007, but earned over 11 million dollars in his career. He plans to play on the Champions Tour next year.
