Lickliter finds winning ways again, finishes first at Q-School
2-time PGA Tour winner Frank Lickliter finished 139th on the PGA Tour money list and
was forced to go to Q-School this week to keep his PGA Tour card. Lickliter proved that he belongs on tour, after firing a six-round total of 403, 29-under-par overall, ousting all other players in the field. "It feels pretty good. It's not quite like Neil Armstrong on the moon, but it's right up there. The greatest part was setting two different course records in the process," said Lickliter, who fired consecutive rounds of 10-under 62 on Tuesday and Wednesday, the lowest a player has ever shot in PGA Tour history for two consecutive days. Interestingly, Lickliter chose to not speak to the media until the end of the tournament. "Hogan never spoke to the media. It was my choice to not let anyone or anything interfere with what I was doing."
