Hoffman throws putter into water on 13th

After missing an 18-inch bogey putt on the par-3 13th hole, Charley Hoffman threw his putter into the greenside water.  Rather than making his caddy fish it out, Jeremy Fowler of the Orlando Sentinel reports that Hoffman used a wedge on the remaining five greens, which he played in 6-over-par.  Hoffman finished in last place at 11-over. 

I can't blame Hoffman for being frustrated.  He is ranked 131st on tour in putting average, and has missed the cut at eight tournaments so far in '08.
