Last night, I had the opportunity to spend some time with Tom Coyne as he was promoting his most recent book, A Course Called Ireland, at the Barnes and Noble in downtown Baltimore (as some of you might remember, I had a Q+A with Tom a few weeks back).
The meeting with Coyne made me realize how challenging it is to promote books these days.
In the last few weeks, Coyne has made appearances at bookstores and pubs, has been interviewed on a number of radio programs and has taken on a grass roots approach by granting interviews to blogs like The Golf Watch. Sometimes, as readers, we forget that researching, writing and editing a book is only one piece of the puzzle.
I encourage you to check out the book at your local bookstore or public library. There's not enough space here to mention all of the fascinating facets of the book, but I can honestly say there's a good chance it will renew and/or strengthen your love for the game.
