Andrade joins Golf Channel team

Billy Andrade, one of most charitable professional golfers out there, is joining up with The Golf Channel to broadcast the Tour Championship in Atlanta and 15 events in 2010.  Andrade is 45 now and hasn't been competitive on Tour for several years.

He made his official debut on TGC last week at the Walker Cup.  Andrade still has a little ways to go before he develops his on-air voice, but he had a strong debut.

Pukalo: Andrade feels his game coming around

Billy Andrade, a 4-time PGA Tour winner, made only four cuts in his first 12 tournaments this year, and is currently 142nd on the money list.  However, Mark Pukalo of the Hartford Courant writes, "Better days are coming. That's been the script for Andrade."  Andrade fired a 4-under 66 yesterday at the Travelers Championship, and has made the cut at his last three tournaments.  "I always seem to start playing well in the summertime," Andrade said. "I like it here. I've had success here. I'm comfortable on the course. Maybe I can put four good ones together."
