It's pretty depressing, but the rollercoaster ride that is John Daly's life doesn't seem to be slowing down. From the News & Record:
Golfer John Daly was held in custody Sunday after police said he was found intoxicated at a restaurant in Winston-Salem.
Police officers were called at 2:17 a.m. to the Hooters at 120 Hanes Square Circle for a medical call. When officers arrived, Daly, who had earlier lost consciousness, was being treated by EMS.
Daly "appeared extremely intoxicated and uncooperative," police stated in a news release. Daly repeatedly refused to be escorted to the hospital and was eventually asked to leave the restaurant by workers there.
Because Daly did not have another means of transportation and his level of intoxication, officers placed him in custody for a 24-hour sober up.
We know Butch Harmon wouldn't put up with this kind of behavior, so it should be interesting to see Rick Smith's response.
