Wrap up: Another young one wins a major, Perry a lock now for Ryder Cup

Inbee_park_2In a developing trend on the LPGA, Inbee Park became the youngest player to win the U.S. Women's Open.  All of the attention at the beginning of the day was on two Americans named Lewis and Creamer, but the South Korean flew under the radar to win her first professional title.  Read the wire story here.

Some people might not like like it, but Kenny Perry's strategy of not playing either the U.S. Open or the British Open is going to pay off.  Perry won the Buick Open thanks to a hole out for eagle out of the sand on 14, and two poorly played holes by Woody Austin on 17 and 18.  Read the wire story here.
