Tirico makes history

We have just witnessed another historic television moment.  Mike Tirico is the first African American announcer in a Masters telecast, as the host of ESPN's early round coverage.

I know Tirico said it’s not about him, it’s about the tournament.  But this is quite the accomplishment for the 41-year-old broadcaster.
