Even though he was heading into the weekend more than five strokes behind, I think we all had a feeling it was going to happen. Tiger Woods won his fifth PGA tournament in a row at the Arnold Palmer Invitational earlier today, tying him with Ben Hogan for third on the all time win list at 64. The way Woods won was reminiscent of early February in Dubai, when he came back from behind to defeat Ernie Els with a huge birdie putt on the par-5 18th. Woods' fist pump in Dubai mirrored the enthusiasm we saw earlier today on the 18th green at Bay Hill, where Woods sunk a 25-footer to oust Bart Bryant by one stroke. Steve Elling of CBSSportsline writes that this might be Woods' "greatest, most magical run."
