After his win at the PODS Championship, Sean O'Hair was interviewed by Jimmy Roberts of NBC Sports. At one point during the interview, O'Hair thanked his former caddy, and father-in-law, Steve Lucas. Unfortunately, Roberts must not have been paying attention, and thought O'Hair was talking about his biological father. If you are not familiar with O'Hair's relationship with his father, Marc O'Hair, check out Bob Harig's latest piece. Marc was overbearing, controlling, unrelenting and pushed Sean too hard. Because of the abusive relationship, Sean hasn't spoken to his dad in years. Anyway, the dialogue between Roberts and O'Hair was as follows:
O'Hair: Most of all, I want to thank my father-in-law. He was there last week, and gave me a good pep talk.
Roberts: Really? I think a lot of people who don't know an awful lot about golf would be surprised to hear about that? But, things are okay between you and him now.
O'Hair: No, my father-in-law, Steve Lucas...
