The second topic on ESPN's Around The Horn earlier today was Tiger Woods' statement after his win at the Buick Invitational. Woods said: "I'm still getting better." Panelists Jay Mariotti, Woody Paige, Tim Cowlishaw, and Bill Plaschke discussed the topic, and all four agreed that Woods is in fact getting better. The only problem with the analysis was that Cowlishaw and Mariotti made some factual errors. It was almost as if neither had watched any of the tournament. Cowlishaw called this past week's Buick Invitational, the 'Buick Classic', and Mariotti said Woods will be unstoppable this year because of how well he is driving the ball. If anyone watched the tournament, they would know that Woods did not drive the ball well--he hit less than 50% of the fairways at Torrey Pines. Finally, Mariotti said that this past week's tournament was the first week of the season, when in fact, it was the fourth week of the PGA Tour season. Listen to the full clip below.
