Justin Leonard has played well at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in the past, including a win in 2005. Now, Leonard is well on his way to a second win at the tournament, after shooting a 6-under 66 earlier today, giving him a four stroke lead over Anthony Kim, Kenny Perry, Robert Gamez, and D.J. Trahan. "I'm enjoying some good golf," said Leonard, who ended his partnership with Butch Harmon last year and reunited with his first instructor
, Randy Smith. "I think all of the work that I put in last year, although it was a little frustrating at times, I think all of that has certainly started to pay off in the fall, and I’ve been able to carry that over to 2008." The 76 players making the cut at 7-under-par or better will play at the Classic Club on Sunday. Leonard will tee off at 1:40 p.m. ET alongside Gamez and Trahan.
