Michelle Wie will not compete in any men's events next year, reports Lewine Mair of the London Telegraph. Wie, a Freshman at Stanford University, started winter break this week, and is currently practicing at David Leadbetter's academy in Florida. According to Steve Elling of CBSSports.com, Leadbetter said earlier today that Wie will skip her spring quarter and play on the LPGA Tour. Leadbetter said, "I think she just wants to reestablish herself. Obviously, after such a terrible year, her biggest goal needs to be getting her form and confidence back. You do that brick by brick."
