Important Golf Channel Executive leaves

According to Golf World writer and Golf Channel Insider Tim Rosaforte, the senior vice president of programming, production, and operations at The Golf Channel has left.  Rosaforte writes, "In a move that shocked most of its talent and production personnel, Golf Channel President Page Thompson sent out an inter-office memo on Wednesday explaining that (Don) McGuire...had 'left the Golf Channel.'"  McGuire, who still had one year left on his contract, played a big part in The Golf Channel's broadcasting of PGA Tour action and was a strong supporter of it's personnel.   He told Golf World, "I was told by our President that they want to make a change."
