Tiger Woods confirmed in a newsletter on his official website that Hank Haney is still his swing coach. Woods writes, "Contrary to rumors, I have not split with Hank Haney, my friend and swing coach...I've become much better at correcting my swing flaws, and that's ultimately where you want to get to with a coach-pupil relationship. Hank is still going to be my coach; that's not changing." Rumors started to circulate about the relationship between the two when Haney stopped showing up to as many tournaments to help Woods. But Haney has explained that he spent more time at home this summer to be with his wife who has been having health issues.
